Why Don't You? PechaKucha

Later this month I'll be doing a short presentation as part of a PechaKucha event in Leicester. I'll be discussing the collaborative aspects relating to the various creative projects I'm involved with, including Tobacco Factory, Grain Barge, Drawn in Bristol, pop-up shops and my own illustration practice.

Details are below and if you fancy coming along, then click here to register. It's a free event too. Bonus.

A PechaKucha event 10 people, 20 images, 6 minutes, 40 seconds.

PechaKucha is special event in which ten people show slides on any subject and talk for 20 seconds on each.

The theme for this event is collaboration and we will have inspirational presentations from people who are making collaborations. The evening is about recognising the talent we have in Leicester, harnessing creativity, good will and an enthusiasm for making things happen together.

Along with Leicester artists and collaborators, guests include Dave Bain from the Tobacco Factory, Bristol and Jayne Childs from Creative Twinning, Nottingham.
