♥ GIRLS WHO DRAW ♥
Girls Who Draw is an ongoing collaboration initiated by a small group of female illustrators in order to showcase their artwork. Each contributer has their own unique visual language, consequently the work is very diverse ranging from slick digital graphics to quirky hand drawn characters and humorous sequential imagery. Members include Yee Ting Kuit, Sarah Ray, Jane Anderson, Gemma Correll and Karoline Rerrie. The group has enlisted other illustrators and produced two postcard books, the first being 'Misfits' which was accompanied by an exhibition at Exposure Gallery in London. Anke Weckmann designed the cover for second book entitled 'Menagerie' which also featured postcards by Mary Kilvert and Kate Hindley. The next exhibition will be at Here and Now Gallery in Falmouth this july.

♥ DECKED ♥
Decked is a fine and dandy collection of artists / illustrators / designers / tattoo artists and generally ink-stained fellows, each using a skate deck to showcase one original piece of artwork, staying away from the digital and embracing the hand created. It was founded through the ideals of giving the viewer something different, something that isn't mass produced and isn't for everybody else, while allowing very different styles to come together. The first exhibition was held at Stolenspace gallery in London in 2009 and will be back by popular demand in August 2010 at The Coningsby Gallery, London.
